Eric began his career as an attorney at Ross, Dixon & Masback, LLP, in Washington, DC, and then at the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. Eric represented national corporations and government agencies in diverse matters such as insurance law, contract disputes, and constitutional law, including one case in which he represented NASA and the Air Force in defense of their award of a multi-billion dollar contract. Eric’s legal experience helped instill in him the skills he applies to his financial practice today including planning and implementing strategies for the short, intermediate, and long-term, coordinating multiple professionals to achieve his clients’ goals, providing the highest level of client service, and assessing the pros and cons of different approaches.

He serves on the board of The Atlas, a performing arts center in Washington, DC, and on the Finance Committee of Leveling the Playing Field, a non-profit organization that provides sports equipment to underserved youth.
Eric lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, is still working on taking his golf game to another level, and, after years of heartache, continues to celebrate the Washington Capitals' Stanley Cup victory. Eric also plays the drums when he can find some willing bandmates.
