At MOSAIC Wealth Partners, we believe client education and understanding is essential. For us, the education process starts with our first meeting and does not stop thereafter. The educational process can include learning about foundational information, such as determining how to clearly define goals and measure progress toward meeting them; technical data, such as developing an understanding of various investment vehicles and how to analyze them; or even procedural elements, such as how different account types work or how to access your accounts online. We view our clients as partners in the process of realizing your financial goals, and we believe your understanding of where you are, where you are going, and how you are getting there is critical to developing your financial peace of mind.
Our client onboarding process is based on this philosophy. We want you to know what to expect when you become a client, and we want to use the opportunity presented during this time frame to ensure that you understand the information and systems that are available to you to monitor your investments.
Accordingly, we’ve developed a process to make sure you’re “up to speed” right out of the gate.
This process begins after you have completed account opening paperwork and become a MOSAIC Wealth Partners client. At this stage, we will keep you informed as to the status of moving your existing assets into your new accounts. Then, shortly after your accounts are funded, we will contact you to walk you through setting up online access to your account information. While you can choose to continue to receive hard copies of statements and other information, we recognize that, more and more, clients want to be able to view their accounts on their schedule and from any location. As such, we make sure you are set up properly to see and access your account information through our website.
Next, after you receive your first monthly account statement, we will contact you again to review it with you. You will receive statements either via hard copy or online on a regular basis, and we want to make sure you understand what data is contained therein and how to find it.
Lastly, 90 days after you’ve become a MOSAIC Wealth Partners client and your accounts have been established and funded, we will contact you again to conduct our first review. In this discussion, we will make sure you are comfortable with the beginning steps we have taken towards implementing your plan, re-visit what you should see happening in your accounts over the next few months, and make sure we answer any questions you might have. We also will set a timeframe for our next scheduled review to ensure we are on the same page as to when our subsequent check-in point will be.
We find knowing what to expect during the first 90 days of becoming a client goes a long way to developing financial peace of mind from the beginning. And that, really, is the ultimate goal.
